I was checking out several select sets and started wondering about this. Clearly this board has superior jazz minds on it (a few odd minds, but definitely knowledgeable about jazz....:) and I wondered how many of you/how often you get a Mosaic set and post a review on their site????

I do think those reviews make a big difference and I do admire people who critically analyze the music. (Some of those posts are inappropriate and I have sent an email to Mosaic a few years ago about them monitoring the reviews...)

I have about 11 sets (not couting Select sets) and I've probably posted about 4 reviews...

Your thoughts?????

Okay off to finish listening to Oscar Peterson and my glass of Cabernet....

wow .. .no replies...

I guess that means no one does... (other than me...)

the reason I asked is it does seem to me that the reviews on their site are very influential....

but I guess I'm just a crazy kinda guy.... hmmmm

go figure......I don't either I just shout the review out of my window and hope nobody hears them!!!!

So that's YOU!

Keep your opinions about Ron McMaster to yourself please - it's like having to listen to church bells five metres from my head at 3 a.m. every morning. Get over it or see a shrink! And BTW you are the ONLY one who wanted the four albums with the Greasy Synapse ad-hoc string orchestra included alongside the quintet sides to make the set into a 'complete' 16 disc behemoth...
