B-) Hey man, I'm a Eurobilly--lotsa West Virgina and southern Indiana mixed in with the Dutch and German stock. Quote
Brad Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 I don't pay that much attention to the political board so I don't know what goes on there. Otherwise I don't see that much going on here. It's certainly nothing like the BNBB. There seem to be some real nastiness on that board. Quote
rostasi Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 it looks like a magritte! Yes, it's "The Betrayal of Tony" by Braxton d'Magritte --- Now playing: Victor Uwaifo & His Melody Maestros - Got My Mojo Workin' (Mojo Mojo Edo) Quote

alankin Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 Actually, there's been quite a dip in nastiness recently. The high point of nastiness was on September 17, 2004 at 20:27 GMT, when it reach as level of 9.876. Quote

I thought it began much earlier but will search board registration dates to confirm. Quote

skeith Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 If you people don't start talking about the new Paul Motian Trio cd, then I will be forced to return to the Politics Forum and you know you won't like that!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Look out guys...I think he means it! Quote
Phil Meloy Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I've had the Political Forum blocked since it's inception. So I don't know what's going on there. Neither does anyone else. Quote
neveronfriday Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I really have to ask the question as I've found it very troublesome that so many threads seem to feature nasty comments, either directed at another poster or a musician / writer / celebrity of one ilk or another. Nothing wrong with disagreement but the manner in which that disagreement is being expressed seems to be getting more and more personal and ugly Old topic? Not an old topic. I think the past two days showed that it is a problem. And it is a few select people who are responsible for the problem. Cheers! Quote
AllenLowe Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 I'm sorry I missed the idiott festivall. When shall next year's festival commmmence? Quote
Jazzmoose Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 As soon as we clean up the mess from this year... Quote
BERIGAN Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 (edited) Actually, there's been quite a dip in nastiness recently. The high point of nastiness was on September 17, 2004 at 20:27 GMT, when it reach as level of 9.876. Berigan posting three Swift-Boat-Liar threads at once? Did Kerry suffer from a self inflicted wound, and get a metal for it? Glad to see you guys can take a break, and keep politics from bleeding into other NON-POLITICAL forums! Edited February 15, 2005 by BERIGAN Quote
ghost of miles Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 (edited) Geez, Berigan, I think the Politics forum got mentioned just a few times before I made my post... and if nastiness on this board is the topic, that particular forum and some of the proven LIES that were posted there that amounted to character assassination merits mentioning. (I'm sure you'd say they were about W. ) And this from a guy who used political signatures throughout all of 2004! Those showed up in every post you made on this board... so give me a break, eh? Son-of-a-Weizen Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Hey Ghost, you should be happy that he ran with the signatures he did and not the one he really wanted to use: 'It wasn't the Republicans that were greedy and tried to get the $11 Mosaic sets' B-) Quote

Son-of-a-Weizen Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 We don't sell Mosaics...just JRVGs. Hey, you wanna buy a sealed 'Basra' JRVG? B-) Quote
