RDK
Just wait until you crack that shrink wrap. Mine was mostly free of rust - but that was two weeks ago and you might have heard that we've had some rain in So Cal. Mine's not as bad bad as that picture... yet. Aggie87
are you a robot? hehehe, thief B-) for the record, the proper response to this is: (Aggie87 @ Feb 28 2005, 11:25 PM) Are you a robot? And your view on the issue of Atzmon ideas is? Che. edit - i know that looks odd, but that is the best i could do to extract it from a locked thread... Son-of-a-Weizen
I prefer my rust pattern.... The thing that really amazes me about this is not so much that someone came up with the idea -- half-baked ideas are floated in corporate boardrooms, ad agencies, etc on a daily basis -- but that there wasn't a clear thinking realist in the room who chimed in and said something like: 'well, you get an 'A' for creativity...but do we really want the consumer -- who, in all likelihood, inhabits the semi-finicky end of the music appreciation spectrum -- to actually get rust on his/her hands each & every time they access the set?' Hello? Simply amazing. Edited March 9, 2005 by Son-of-a-Weizen

Peter Johnson
I think the thing that cracks me up is that afterthought stamp--"the packaging on this box set" blah blah blah...as if it were INTENTIONAL!!!
Bright Moments
QUOTE(Bright Moments @ Mar 29 2006, 01:14 PM) bring back the babe thread.................. There are plenty of other boards that cater to those with rampant libidos, or those exhibiting interest in a (forgive me) virtual circle-jerk. How about THIS forum on the otherwise respectable DVD Talk Forum. Guest
So, I click on "View New Posts" and see this topic "Nastiness & this Board". Intriguing, because I think it's generally pretty docile as long as no one mentions drugs and the greats. Then I notice it's a 43 page discussion! Wow, this ought to be good, how did I miss it? So I start at page 43 and start working my way back and can't find a nasty comment, so I wanted to say: F*** you guys for wasting my time. <edited out the F word, because you're all just such nice people> Edited March 30, 2006 by TroyK
