Son-of-a-Weizen
'S Wonderful 'S Wonderful The hybrid should play on a non-SACD player, yes? Is the item description at CD Universe wrong?
tjobbe
SA-CD list this as hybrid, means playable on a regular CD-P when selecting the Red-Book layer... Cheers, Tjobbe
Son-of-a-Weizen
Thanks, Tjobbe.
wulfman
No fear picking up this CD. Great trio action. I've never heard Pattituci play in a trio setting before. Nice version of Moanin' as well.

Brad
You should check out Someday My Prince Will Come with Hank, Elvin and Richard Davis. One of the better albums from last year.
jlhoots
Eighty-eights definitely brings out some excellent CDs. Some eventually make it to domestic U.S. issue, but I usually can't wait. Expensive, but worth it (IMHO). http://www.eighty-eights.com
Son-of-a-Weizen
Thanks for the sugestions, folks. I decided to add "Someday My Prince" & "Autumn Leaves" to the bag w/"S Wonderful". The other pair that look intriguing are those live "At the Village Vanguard" dates from 1978 that are only available as imports...although I noticed over at CD Universe a pre-release special for a "At the Village Vanguard" due out in March. I wonder if this is another re-issue of "At the Village Vanguard, Again" or if they've squeezed the aforementioned Vols 1 & 2 onto a single disc? East Wind did that about 4 years ago when they released a limited edition gold disc, a copy of which showed up on eBay about 2 months back.
