Hard to see how they could make any money, unless these fell off a truck. OTOH, I don't have the Brookmeyer, and I'd be willing to gamble. Sometimes these places just get the prices wrong. Amazon was selling a 10 CD set of Billie Holiday (from Definitive) that replicated the Columbia set, and it only cost $20. I know some people got the entire set at that price. (Now it is $90, though plenty of used copies for $50 floating about.)

If you want to be really greedy, go to the home page and copy the promo code for $1 off each cd.

Thanks Chuck!

I ordered the three that I didn't have. Heck, it's not like any money I save (if they do indeed show up) won't be going back to Mosaic anyway... :w

I kind of like the gamble, especially since this looks a little dodgy. If I lose out, then I won't be as tempted to stray from the straight and narrow again. There are actually a number of shops on Gemm.com that I won't deal with again because their fill rate is so low. But I wasn't that impressed with the rest of their inventory, so I probably won't be coming back again and again to the site.

C'mon folks, this can't be for real.

They're also selling some of the Miles Davis boxed sets for $11.03.

I'm guesssing that their intent is to sell CDs and sets at $11.03 per CD.

On the Selects, I'd rather pay the higher price and get the merchandise directly from Mosaic. It helps support Mosaic in a direct fashion (eliminates the middle man), Mosaic provides a very quick shipping service, and, if there are any problems, Mosaic is easy to deal with.

I view the 'extra' dollars as insurance against potential problems.

The only Select I ordered is the Reese (I have the others and frankly have Japanese versions of the Reese material). The other was Seven Steps to Heaven.

If this stuff is illegal (off the back of a truck), that would be another story and I'd return it. What the heck, if they say that's not the real price, I'll say thank you very much and no thanks. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The worst I can be out of is $22 plus shipping. It's not that big of a risk. If there is a moral component here, then guilty. But we're all big boys.
