patricia Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 (edited) YESSSS!!! Congratulations to Melissa, welcome to little Milo and of course, thank you to Johnny for his supporting role in bringing yet another liberal jazz nut into the world. . Edited February 2, 2005 by patricia Quote
maren Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 At last !!! Congratulations to all three of you!!! Melissa looks fantastic, the beautiful Milo looks like he's happily sleeping off the big journey -- and John, you have that incredulous, awed and devoted new-dad countenance! What a great-looking family! Quote

Jazz Kat Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 I assume you read the book about having a child, that has, on the cover, a picture of a man staring at a road sign that says, "Having A Life," one way, and "Having A Child," the other way. Quote
maren Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 Speaking of books, the opening line of the original Dr. Spock is a good one: "Relax -- you know more than you think you do." Quote
chris olivarez Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Congrats Johnny I hope you get some sleep. Quote
BruceH Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 WOW!!! All the best, Johnny! Great news! Quote
Dan Gould Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 I was going to post my congratulations but I saw how many had already done so, and I figured, what does one more do, since they all say essentially the same thing. So I'm taking a moment to send positive vibes and then going back to what I was doing. Oh what the hell: Congratulations, John and Family! Quote

But honestly, I could use your good vibes a lot more than your sarcasm, so thanks, but no thanks. Everyone else, thanks so much. Milo is a variation on Miles. No family connection or anything like that - Milo is an old, yet unique name that has a cute and endearing ring to it. We narrowed it down to three (Milo, Callen and Cole), but once he came out he just seemed like a Milo. Ho ho, back to diapers and laundry. -john Quote
