catesta Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Baby Back ribs with baked potato and corn. I rub the ribs with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and chili powder, double rap them in foil and put on the grill for about an hour (turning once), then finish them off unwrapped with some beer bar-b-que sauce. Very tender when done. Quote

Leeway Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 Baked ziti with Italian sausages and beef chunks in sauce. As an Italian kid growing up in NYC, I usually ate "macaroni" as we called it) every Sunday. That would involve a variety of pasta and several additional courses. I don't stick to the Sunday pasta routine as much anymore, but I'm looking forward to tonight's meal-- I can smell the sauce cooking Quote

Mostaccioli: Ziti: "Ziti ("Bridegrooms") - A medium-sized, tubular pasta shape, Ziti is perfect for chunky sauces and meat dishes. It also makes wonderful salads, baked dishes and stir-fry meals." JSngry Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Spumongi is fried muscatutti. Muscatutti is unfried spumongi. Been feeding them to my kids for years, or so I've told them... Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Tonight my wife, Zora, Joe and I went out to one of Lansing's finest Italian family-owned restaurants, Emil's. It's been there a long time. I had canneloni with a nice side salad and a bunch of bread while I fed Zora her yogurt, some crackers, bread, and carrots. She liked her apple juice tonight, too! I think my wife had some nice fish and rice with an alfredo dish on the side. Joe had... vegetarian lasagna I think? Good times! Quote
