Soul Stream Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 Nice! With Tony Monaco on the big B3! I'm adding this one to my cart! Yes Jim. A very nice record. Monaco is a real joy to listen to here. You and I both know that guy is one fantastic organist. When I got his DVD and saw him play "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" in the old fashioned full organ style where you play chord melodies w/ the right hand and double it with single note melody with the left and play bass w/foot (the name of this style is slipping me right now)....wow. He knows how to play that organ inside and out, no doubt. Quote
.:.impossible Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 I heard Monaco on the radio one day on the way into work. He floored me! I'll bite on this one. Can you guys think of other organ dvds that are good? I've seen a dvd under Bill Stewart's name that has him duetting with Larry Goldings. That is a pretty sweet video. Quote
