James Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 On the Fresh Sound label (as opposed to the Fresh Sound *New Talent* label) I'd recommend two Bud Shank recordings with the same *strong* rhythm section. Don't recall the titles, but one features the music of Bill Evans, the other Gerry Mulligan. With Mike Wofford, Bob Magnusson and Joe LaBarbera. Quote
