As for LPs recorded before the 70s, these can be added to the list:

5036: Urbie Green - New Faces, New Sounds (12/27/53)

LT 1057: Harold Land - Take Aim (7/25/60)

GXF 3057: Kenny Burrell - Freedom (3/27/63, 4/2/63, 10/22/64)

LT 993: Stanley Turrentine - New Time Shuffle (2/17/67, 6/23/67)

4295: Reuben Wilson - On Broadway (10/4/68)

McCoy Tyner - ’Cosmos’ (4/4/69) [half of the double album BN-LA 460-H2]

- this has not been on CD yet, but will come out on an upcoming Mosaic Select.

Not to quibble, but it should probably be noted that of that list, only the Green & Wilson albums were actually issued by Blue Note in their time, and that the Land was recorded for another label altogether. The others (including the Land) were all issued for the first time in the 1970s, positioned as "historical finds" rather than "new releases", if you know what I mean.

Still, once a Blue Note, always a Blue Note! :g

Im pretty sure the Land album was produced for BN, but not by Alfred. I think it was a contract job with Feather.

I think the Burrell Freedom album was issued in Japan around the time it was recorded. It has never been out in the US.
