AllenLowe
This was a rather historic CD recorded at the Knitting Factory, a modern tribute to Louis Armstrong, called: "Mental Strain at Dawn" - it was my own group, with Doc Cheatham and David Murray, Loren Schonberg, John Rapson. Got 4 Stars in Down Beat, CD of the month in CD Review. Notes by Dan Morgenstern. Selling for $5.00 plus $1.50 shipping, domestic ($5 to Europe) - act quickly, as I only have about 300 of these left - also, first 100 calls get the stair-cleaner attachment - email me at alowe@maine.rr.com Edited January 19, 2005 by AllenLowe
JohnS
Having paid full price for mine years ago this is a steal. Well worth having.

JSngry
I bought some things last week from Allen, and can vouch that he ships quite promptly. He shipped when he said he would, and the shit gotted here FAST! I can also vouch that what he's offering is quality music at a price YOU can afford! However, I'm a little peeved that I didn't get offered the stair-cleaner attachment. Oh well, we ain't go no stairs. But we DO have a hi-fi, and it's been a-blarin' for years now. So it all comes out in the wash. Which reminds me - if I order again, can I get a de-luxe fabric softener ball of some sort? Please?
jlhoots
Not to derail the thread, but I just dug out my copy of New Tango 92 & gave it a listen. Good stuff. Notes by Mr. Lowe himself. Addendum: Needless to say I also have the CD Mental Strain At Dawn & highly recommend it.
