Rosco Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 I wish I knew. I've had this tune going round in my head for the last three or four days and I cannot think what it is. It's driving me nuts. Good tune, though. Quote

porcy62 Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Baba O'reily - The Who. Out here in the fields I fight for my meals I get my back into my living. I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland Sally, take my hand We'll travel south cross land Put out the fire And don't look past my shoulder. The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together Before we get much older. Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland. Teenage wasteland Oh, yeah Teenage wasteland They're all wasted! Big Al Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Billy Joel's "My Life." I F^%$&%^$&^#&$$%&ING hate Billy Joel, I hate this song, I hate the lyrics, I hate everything about it. I hate when this happens. GRRRRRRR!!!!! Why can't I have a GOOD song stuck in my head? Quote
Big Al Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) Hold On Hope by Guided By Voices. What a wonderful song, and I.....can't......get.....it.....out.......of.....my.....head....... Stolen by Dashboard Confessional. I have to stop watching my Scrubs dvds, the song they use are really, really, really, are getting stuck in my head. Look, Loretta, I know you like to curl up on your futon and watch reruns of your favorite pretend-medical drama with the metrosexual black & white guys, the overly-neurotic blond, and the token Latina so that every group gets offended, but lemme tell ya something: those songs are written for money, plain and simple, and yes I know it's really really really romantic to imagine these songs were written for perfect placement inside the show, but it's all about the money, kid. Money, moolah, dinero, yen, euro, and the increasingly popular Canadian dollar (AND if you say "Benjamins" I'm going to put on a pair of surgical gloves and subtly move one of your carefully moussed hairs and not tell you which one). Look Marcy, if you think these Goo-Goo Dolls wannabes are any less cynical, well.... you're one appletini shy of total sober naivete. ********** Yes to both of those and "Hallelujahs!"
