If the latter then I'm surprised you don't think a 10-1 ratio is not already adequate. yeah, 10-1 and they still couldn't win the election!!! Quote

AmirBagachelles Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 My wife's first labor was tough on her, but REALLY tough on my ears. Talk about a garbage mouth. But well worth all 15 hours of it. Best Johnny boy, Sensitive Dan Quote

maren Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 (edited) BTW, Johnny E, we need all the liberals we can get, so thanks for doing your part  Well, you can't always guarantee that! Who knows? Imagine, in the year 2030, the daughters of SOAW berating JohnnyE-Jr and "Marensson" about the need to de-privatize and re-create Social Security!!!! Edited January 12, 2005 by maren Quote
Johnny E Posted January 16, 2005 Author Report Posted January 16, 2005 Hello everyone. My 'still pregnant' wife and I are back home for a little while. The hospital staff has been trying to enduce early labor for the past 5 days due to my wife's Pre-eclampsia, but none of the techniqes used seemed to wanna work. Her vitals gradually stabilized so they sent us home for the weekend. Melissa (my wife) is fine, the baby is fine - we just have to go back for a check in on Monday and take it from there. I've slept in a hospital room for the past week, and let me tell ya', it sure is good to be back home, if only for the weekend. thanks for all the well wishes (both public and private). This place really feels like a extended family. We have are Roger Clintons and Neil Bush's, but what the hell, doesn't every family? I'll try to keep you posted if I am near a internet connection. Strength! Quote
couw Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 hope all will be fine soon, with cake and family visits. All the best wishes Quote
JSngry Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Stay safe, stay sane, and don't freak out if a c-section is eventually called for. They do them now where bikinis and vaginal births are both still an option afterwards. Best wishes to all. Quote
alankin Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Good luck! Hope all goes well... Quote
maren Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Good to hear from you, Johnny. All my best to Melissa, and good luck tomorrow. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Wow... tough break. Hang in there! Your wife is a strong woman to put up with five days in the hospital and no labor! Like Sangry said, don't freak out if a c-section is necessary. My wife's is barely even visible now. Quote
