Big Al Posted January 20, 2008 Author Report Posted January 20, 2008 All's I know is all four of my orders show "Shipped!" Quote
Tjazz Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 (edited) Really, these prices are just $1 cheaper than doing a sponsored enrollment deal. (Sponsor gets 5, new member gets 12 for 1, new member buys 1 with 4 free = 21 CDs total) But of course, it's easier to order a ton of CDs all at once with this code. Big Al Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 And apparently, that code is still working! I haven't ordered anything else, but punched up the code outta curiosity. Still works! Quote
Aggie87 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 ...The free codes appear to be "one time only" use today. Quote

Aggie87 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 ...The free codes appear to be "one time only" use today. Crap! I think Ron's 278 orders per day ruined it for the rest of us! Quote

WD45 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 All six of my orders are now marked as "Shipped"! Woo! Quote
mikelz777 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) I used one of the codes yesterday and the other one today. I attempted placing a third order (attempting both codes) but I was denied with a message noting that I had already used the code. I wanted one more order to pick up the Hank Williams singles collection! As it stands, I got some great CDs at a great price. 6 discs for $15.14 or $2.52 per disc! I still have to fulfill my membership for which I'll make jazz picks but I used these sale codes to pick up some non-jazz titles on the cheap. A bit of an eclectic mix, no? mikelz777 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) I was kind of fishing around to see if other codes would work and discovered that you can use J8E1 and J8E3 to get 1 free pick without having to order a selection. Edited January 24, 2008 by mikelz777 Quote

And each one of those can be used one time (i.e., you can get a total of 2 free CDs--plus shipping and--for some of us--tax, of course). Quote

mikelz777 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 (edited) That early Jones stuff is devastating awesome. That's good to hear. I've liked George Jones ever since I heard his Anniversary: Ten Years of Hits. I've always liked that "old school" country, not what they're calling country today. I'm looking forward to giving it a listen. I just noticed you were a Minnesotan. I thought I was the only one here. Edited January 25, 2008 by mikelz777 Quote
WD45 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 And you aren't far away, in the hamlet of Burnsville. I am actually in Plymouth. Glad the cold snap will break tomorrow! Quote
Tjazz Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I just went frickin' nuts with a bunch of 3-CD orders. Don't ruin it for the rest of us! Why? You think they'll notice 278 orders going to the same address? Won't the postman hate you? Quote

You'd probably snatch all of my CD deliveries, since we seem to have similar tastes. Quote
WD45 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 So last night I placed another order for 8 discs with four coupons, all free. That brings my total to 29 discs set to show up. How many did others order? Or is 278 a real figure? Quote

Of course, my definition of unlimited and Ron's are probably alot different! Quote

I think BMG's been weaning us off the freebie habit rather than making us quit cold turkey. Edited January 25, 2008 by Ron S Quote
