Not sure why I keep getting these, maybe they read my mind and realize I was about ready to cancel my membership.

At any rate, here is another BMG coupon for 60% off no shipping, for 2 days only (Sept 1-2):

FWIW, they will tack on shipping to some orders with box sets. The coupon does say that it doesn't apply to box sets, although the prices on many of them do reflect the 60% off, and it appears possible to order at least one without getting shipping tacked on.

But I ordered three box sets and had to pay about $6 in shipping. Still much better than their usual exhorbitant shipping charges.

..Basically getting you the "yourmusic" price. But there might be some discs that BMG has that yourmusic doesn't. I know that's the case with some of the box sets, but not so sure about the individual discs.

Columbia mistakenly enrolled me in the Latin music club, and now it seems I have an introductory offer for the BMG latin club. I'm thinking about trying to use that order the 12 for 1 to see if they catch it. ^_^

I received a call tonight from BMG with an offer of 12cd's for the price of three but because of the sorry state of the "new offerings" I declined. I couldn't think of 12 selections right now that they're offering that would make it worth my time,trouble and money.

I've noticed in the new releases section that some ECM titles have been added: Keith Jarrett, Charles Lloyd, Tord Gustavsen. I have no interest in these titles, but it's good to see BMG expanding beyond the US conglomerate labels.

Right now you can get the Complete Impulse Recording of Coltrane for 36.39, which is in my opinion, without a doubt, the greatest deal in the history of recorded music. Additionally, the heavyweight champion is 43.99.

Someone you know could use some christmas gifts!

I think i need to finally pull the trigger on the Clifford Brown blue note box. Anyone want to push me over the edge?
