wolff Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 If I use the 50% off/ no shipping code to buy 6 CD's, will one of the CD's count toward my membership agreement? Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 If I use the 50% off/ no shipping code to buy 6 CD's, will one of the CD's count toward my membership agreement? Only towards your vinyl purchases. Quote
wolff Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Only towards your vinyl purchases. I occassionally am reminded of Columbia House and receiving vinyl from their club. Actually, listening to a CD I just got from BMG at the moment. A nice RVG of Cafe Bohemia Vol 1. My back is killing me so much I can't sit up and listen to LP's, so I'm laying down, flat on my back listening through headphones. I really need to get a back friendly, audiophile approved listening chair. Quote
wolff Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 48 hour sale. October 22/23 50% off with no shipping/handling. K4OD16 If I use the 50% off/ no shipping code to buy 6 CD's, will one of the CD's count toward my membership agreement? Quote
Tjazz Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 If I use the 50% off/ no shipping code to buy 6 CD's, will one of the CD's count toward my membership agreement? No, you have to spend at least $18 on a CD or CD set to fullfill your membership. I suggest buying the FACES (4-CD) box set for $23.99 plus reg shipping to fullfil your membership requirement. Quote
BFrank Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Just ordered "Great Concert of Charles Mingus" and "Newks Time" < $20! Quote

Tjazz Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Newly available: All of the Paul Simon remastered CDs (all 9) Joni Mitchell - Beginning of Survival (geffen compilation) 3 Heart remasters Diana Krall - THE GIRL IN THE OTHER ROOM (doesn't this sound alittle like Joni Mitchell?) Sam Phillips - BOOTS AND A SHOE I just got Dwight Yoakams USED RECORDS and it comes in a jewel case, not the digi-pack. Quote
wolff Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Man, a lot of the cases arrive damaged from BMG. I've sent away for the replacements they mention, but forgot to say I needed them with the clear spine section, like the RVG cases. Guess I'll write again requesting them. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I have been a BMG member for about 10 years (2 memberships - Jazz and Classical). My experience with broken jewel boxes is almost nil, but any complaints have been addressed. Quote

Yes, that seems to one of the drawbacks with mail order items. But sometimes I complain and BMG just sends me another CD. So that should cover quite a few broken cases. Quote
John B Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 I just noticed some really nice additions today: Von Freeman – The Great Divide Duke Ellington – Piano in the Foreground Duke Ellington – Blues in Orbit Duke Ellington – Piano in the Background Quote
