Street Singer, I reviewed Cuban Fantasy for AAJ. I recommend it. I recommend every Cal Tjader record I've heard! Lots of rhythm, not much melody. Think of a jazz band playing a frat party.

That Heart "Alive in Seattle" disc is a hybrid SACD, one of Sony's first ones. Is this the first and only SACD available through BMG? I wonder if it truly is the hybrid disc...?

Got my first shipment today, only to discover that they sent me Monk's UNDERGROUND instead of IT'S MONK'S TIME (which I ordered). Not that I'm complaining! I mean, at least they got the artist right: they could've accidentally sent me MARSALIS PLAYS MONK instead!

Between my 2 memberships (jazz and classical) I've ordered about 30 discs in the last month with an average cost under $5, thanks to a bunch of doubles.

I ordered the Culture Club 4-CD box set and they sent me a 10-CD BACH set.

It's easy to use their online system to inform them of mistakes and it appears they are resending the Culture Club box set (hopefully it will be correct item this time).

BMG didn't say anything about 'mistake' 10-CD BACH set, so I guess I have some extra discs. Anybody interested in BACH?

Thanks for the info, tjazz. I ordered all 6 of these yesterday for ~$37. The rest of the Dylan remasters I picked up from Columbia House using some 'Free CD' certificates I had saved up. Paid less than $20 for shipping on those. So, I got all the new Dylan remasters for under $60...

Now THAT'S a hell of a deal!
