Vincent, Paris Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 With the help of some French friends of his, Archie Shepp launches his own label, Archie Ball, this month in France. The first release is a duet album between him and pianist Siegfried Kessler (to be released in stores on the 28th). Quote

JSngry Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Not only can he sing, but he can dance just as good as he walk. Too bad the Army got him. Quote
JSngry Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Looked at the site, looked nice. Listened to the samples, sounds nice. Are there plans for an English version and/or direct online ordering? Quote
Vincent, Paris Posted January 9, 2005 Author Report Posted January 9, 2005 Are there plans for an English version and/or direct online ordering? I don't know about an English version... The easiest way to order is to use the website of their French distributor, Abeille Musique. Quote
.:.impossible Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Not only can he sing, but he can dance just as good as he walk. Too bad the Army got him. Huh... I always thought the lyric was "...just as good as we want!" "Walk" I actually like better. Either way, its called the Tighten Up, and you can do it. Tighten it up now. Quote
bertrand Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Maybe he could record an album of Cal Massey compositions. Bertrand. Quote
