danasgoodstuff Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 (edited) I've finally decided what exactly I want to put on it. Hope to actually make 'em tonight, start the mailing list next week, if there are no SNAFU's. Does that sound about right or do we need more time to finish with 20 & 21? Big Al Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 Oh yeah! But you might wanna change the thread title to BFT#22. I'm gonna let the discussion for BFT #21 (disc one) go for another week or so, just to let everyone get back into the groove after the holidays. So yeah, I'd start signing folks up now! Me, f'rinstance! Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted December 30, 2004 Author Report Posted December 30, 2004 Al, Done, thanks. Just got my BFT #21 today, thanks again. Dana Quote
mikeweil Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 Me, f'rinstance! Me, too, 'fcourse! You will need my street adress: PM or e-Mail? Quote
mikeweil Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 And, as it has shown discs sometimes take unforeseeably long time spans to fly 'round the planet, it ain't too early, IMHO, especially since some may be on vacation this time of the year. Quote
mikeweil Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 BTW - do you want me to link this as the signup thread in the test masters list? Oer do you want to start another thread? You could rename the subtitle (early warning) by editing your initial post. Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted December 31, 2004 Author Report Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) OK let's link this as the signup since I've done a test copy and it's fine. The vol. does go up and down a bit, my software allows me to corect for that but I'm not sure how or how well it works. Any thoughts, anyone? Also, any volunteers for 'treeing' it overseas? Edited December 31, 2004 by danasgoodstuff Quote
mikeweil Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I'll volunteer to forward the German and Swiss discs once more. Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted January 1, 2005 Author Report Posted January 1, 2005 Mike, Thank you, please PM me your adress. Dana Quote
tooter Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Dana. So is this now the sign-up thread? If so, include me. I'm here for UK distribution if needed. Will PM my address now. Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted January 5, 2005 Author Report Posted January 5, 2005 OK, BFT #22 went out to the European sigups Tooter, Brownie and Mikeweil yesterday. They have kindly agreed to distribute to others in their respective areas. I think if I can get the rest out next week that should put everyone on an equal footing, n'est pa? So who else wants one? couw Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 things are moving fast. Mike, please count me in! Quote
mikeweil Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Not the slightest chance to surprise ya, eh? Quote

mikeweil Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 ..... or are there any other strange swiss people who love jazz? If so, you'd be the first I would tell! Quote

Durium Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I'd love to be part too in the BFT #22 Is this the right place to sign in? Edited January 7, 2005 by Durium Quote
mikeweil Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I'd love to be part too in the BFT #22 Is this the right place to sign in? Yes, but you must also send a PM to the Test Master, in this case danasgoodstuff. In cas nobody else covers The Netherlands I could pass on the disc to you - then please PM or e-mail me your street adress. I take care of Germany and Switzerland in this BFT. danasgoodstuff Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Hi everyone: Haven't had time to respond individually to all the PMs but the BFT signup is open through this weekend, at least. I will try to get things mailed next week so we can get started with the fun soon after. Thank you all for your interest. This BFT is a sort of thankyou/tribute/apology (for all my crankiness) to the Organissimo BB community. All the selections are connected, in one way or another, to threads here and all of them connect one to the next. FINALLY, DON'T PLAY IT ON YOUR COMPUTER WITH REAL PLAYER UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWERS! (there must be a way to disable that but don't ask me...) Dana Quote
couw Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 (there must be a way to disable that but don't ask me...) assuming you are using MS windows and as you already seem to have the music ripped, open the appropriate folder in Windows Explorer, right-click the music file > properties > file info > advanced > then proceed to delete all the info you do not want to be there. in RealPlayer: open clip > file > clip properties > edit clip info > delete all that you want to hide.
