I prefer AAJ and Organissimo (though I don´t have time enough to post here as regularly as I´d want to). Members and moderators/administrators make these two nice, friendly and useful! catesta
I've only posted a few times at JC. I prefer here and AAJ.
connoisseur series500
An excellent and propitious start, I would say, for a young bulletin board.
wesbed
An excellent and propitious start, I would say, for a young bulletin board. Because the board moderator and users/posters are good. I remember, in the early days of this board, I was wanting, very much, for the young board to do well and grow. I've enjoyed it so far. Brad
Considering the number of member at AAJ and here and the number of posts at both places, it's quite startling. There's more than 3 times as many members, but only 1.37 as many posts. That's not startling, that's amazing!
Joe G
When I just looked, there were 19,999 posts. This could have been the 20,000th. B) Edit: Yep, it was! Edited June 4, 2003 by Joe G
jazzbo
I think Bev made some good points about the differences between this board and AAJ. Vive la difference!

jazzbo
Now, did I say it was on this thread? Here is where it is: http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php...2&t=1152&st=

brownie
Have tried for the past couple of days to take a look at AAJ but all I get when I connect is a page that is blank except for the top section with the AAJ logo. I have been away from that board for the past month. Is there a problem there? Or is it just my computer?
EKE BBB
No problem for me today, Brownie.
brownie
No problem for me today, Brownie. Do you enter the AAJ Forums? I have no problem going to any of the AAJ sites but all I get when I hit the 'Forums' is that blank page.
EKE BBB
Yes. No problem hitting the "Forums", hitting specific threads or adding a reply.

ghost of miles
The member/post ratio is much higher here than at the other two boards (and that would still be the case even if the lost AAJ posts were added back in). I suppose that could be construed to mean that we're more "devoted/enthusiastic" B) or more "clubby/cliquey" -_- . Don't matter to me--it's just a cool place to hang! All three sites have much to offer; I guess it's just that I like the people here so much & feel somewhat of a bond with them. Call me clubby, old chap, and ask Jeeves to come over here and light my cigar!
Dan Gould
Call me clubby, old chap, and ask Jeeves to come over here and light my cigar! I'm sure you do that only because Jeeves as well as the handmaidens are unionized and earn $25 an hour with full medical benefits.
