garthsj Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Winner gets a Ronnie Ross CD! (What are available??) Yes, Brad, I wrote to Mr. Tanni about acquiring the "modern Clarinetists" CD ... thanks for the tip. By the way, I hate dragging up older posts in this thread, but I must admit some surprise that I seemed to be the only one who mentioned the late Bob Gordon ... has he been so forgotten?? Quote

garthsj Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Couw, What's the best source for this CD? I think that you may have listed a source about six months ago, and I was unable to access the website. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thanks .... Quote
couw Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Couw, What's the best source for this CD? I think that you may have listed a source about six months ago, and I was unable to access the website. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thanks .... the label Wewerka has an own website here: http://www.wewerka-online.de/ go to "catalogue/artists" and continue to the "jazz collection." There is no specific order form (only for downloads) and I had some problems when there were no replies to my emails. In the end I called them up to place an order. A fax might also do the trick. Their contact page says they can provide a contact address for any country. The Bastards have been carrying it as well, but it seems to be temporarily out of stock, link. Their price beats that of Wewerka, especially when considering the current exchange rate. Quote
cannonball-addict Posted December 11, 2004 Author Report Posted December 11, 2004 Three Baritone Saxophone Band - best bari sax CD out there that I've heard. I'll have to get the one Brad is talking about. That sounds scrumptious. Quote
ghost of miles Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 I voted for Brignola, because I thought Pepper will win by a landslide Another vote for the inclusion of Lars Gullin on this poll! An outrageous oversight indeed! B-) Quote
Brad Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Dusty Groove is actually pretty good about getting things back in stock if you send them your email adress when you access the link that couw left. That's what I just did. Quote
garthsj Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 I have waited this long .. I can wait a few months more .. thanks for the lead ... I am always afraid to go on the Bastards website ... it just delays my acquiring my beach house ... Quote
