Fats Navarro & Tadd Dameron

up. I was listening to the Bud Powell BN recordings the other night featuring Fats Navarro and Sonny Rollins. Every time I heard that trumpet I would flip!!! I've been rifling through my collection since then looking for more Fats.

I am going to look into this 2CD set. Dameron is another huge hole in my collection as well.

Any other recommedations?

Get the Fats Savoy material, though it's been spread over several CDs.

I have the Proper Fats. IMO, one of their better foursomes.
