Dan Gould Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Myself, I really like the crispy layer on top when its oven cooked. Quote
Noj Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I eat it for days after Thanksgiving, in all its glorious textures. Quote
wesbed Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I like the stuffing cooked inside o' the bird. When it's removed the stuffing comes out hot, soft, and steamy. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I love stuffing of any kind. It can be the secret family recipe stuffing that we only get with turkey, or Stove-Top. I don't care. Stuffing is GOOD! Quote
RDK Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Anyone ever try Rachel Ray's stuffin' muffins? Look tasty! (And yes, I know there's an easy joke there, but I'm not biting!) Quote
Quincy Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Any way I can get it! I thought this was going to be about what you like in your stuffing/dressing. Oysters! Unfortunately I hang around the wrong crowd now so if I want any that way, I have to make a small amount for myself and practically go sit in a corner. So I haven't made any for myself in years, lest I offend the squeamish. Quote
maren Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I voted "it's all good" -- but the BEST is when it was cooked in the bird in the first place and then you reheat it on Friday to get the crusty top... Quote
Dan Gould Posted November 24, 2004 Author Report Posted November 24, 2004 I thought this was going to be about what you like in your stuffing/dressing. Oysters! Sausage and 'shrooms for me! Quote
Stefan Wood Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I must be a commie. I HATE stuffing! In any way, shape or form. Brown or black. All I know about stuffing is that you gotta cook the stuff before you put it in the turkey. Oh yeah, I hate cranberries as well. I'm a real treat on turkey day......... Quote
Big Wheel Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Oh yeah, I hate cranberries as well. I'm a real treat on turkey day......... I like cranberries, but have definitely run across some truly revolting examples of the quivering jellied variety usually served on Thanksgiving. Quote
BruceH Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 "Mmmmm....quivering jelly...ahhhhhhhh..." Quote
GloriousBlues Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Out of the bird, crispy on top, drenched in gravy. Quote
king ubu Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I eat different birds. N Backhendl gfÀlligst, der Herr? Quote
