Has this been discussed in its new extended reissue? Have a compilation (The Divine Sarah Vaughan) which has some of the stuff with Miles and the George Treadwell All Stars and wonder whether this is worth the money

How new is this extended reissue? I have a CD (Columbia/Legacy CK 65117) from 1996 or so with 21 selections (plus the Phil Schaap "pause track"). Is there something else out there?

As far as I know, Columbia/Legacy 65117 (released on April 29, 1997) is the most recent reissue.

I have the compilation. . . if you like the material on that from this group, you'll like this, and the sound is "better" (crisper and clearer).

I second that recommendation - I had a 2 CD Columbia Compliation with all the master takes, but the 1997 CD has a few alternates, other bonus material, and better sound and annotation.

Previously had just some of this stuff on Lp, bought the 1997 Cd last year, and am well-pleased.

Really, nothing not to like about it.
