porcy62 Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 (edited) I find Goldmine guides very useful and accurate for my vinyl madness: full descriptions of cover, label, pressing. I am wondering if exist something like that for UK records. Edited November 17, 2004 by porcy62 Quote
sidewinder Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 (edited) Yes, there are a couple of price guides for UK vinyl. I think they are called 'Rare Record Price Guide' and 'Record Collector Price Guide', or something close to this. The former (I think) is a heavy black-cover paperback that has just come out in the 2004 edition (says '2006' on the cover ! ). It covers all kinds of popular music with UK artists and UK releases of US and 'foreign' artists. There are also price 'guestimates' for the more common Blue Note imports from the latter 1960s - for the most part these count as pretty good fiction.. :rsmile: Worth a search on Amazon UK using 'Record Price Guide' as search criteria. This should give you the title details. Edited November 17, 2004 by sidewinder Quote
