The recently issued Counterpoints is supposed to be from the same tour of Japan. If it does well, perhaps Passion Dance will be released on CD.

that's kinda strange, isn't it? why release unissued material before reissuing a long-deleted title? on the other hand, if the new release sells reasonably well, perhaps passion dance will follow.

Logic and record companies rarely seem to go hand-in-hand. Hopefully it will spur the CD version of "Passion Dance" as you guys mentioned. I've got to think Tyner's one of their better sellers.

As for the Tapscott, thanks! I believe it's by the same artist as the Dolphy avatar used by ejp626. There's a guy who's catalog need a real dusting off. Seemingly would make for a great Mosaic or Mosaic Select. Most of the Nimbus West and Interplay material has never made it to CD. What has is usually extremely hard (and expensive) to find.
