Hate to be a pessimist about my own team, but it’s all over now including the shouting: Dirk’s calling out Erick Dampier for Dampier’s playing, and Dampier’s calling Dirk’s comments “stupid.” Which they are, if anyone’s been paying attention to Dirk’s so-called “playing.” This’ll be an easy sweep for Phoenix. And to think Mark Cuban thought Nash wasn’t worth the money. Unbelieveable! Quote

B-) sidenote: I attended the game last night and the pistons really didn't play their game for much of the night; not hitting open shots, not taking ccare of the ball, no answer for J. Foster. Pacers played a very good game with the exception of a chunk of the final quarter when they almost gave it away. m- Quote

I watched him closely after Dirk called him out and he just doesn't look that good. Sorry, maybe it is because I have seen too many good ones, Nate The Great, Wilt, Russ, Willis, Kareem, David, Robert Parish, Wes Unseld, George Miken, etc. Hell, Luc Longley and Bill Cartwright played a better game than Eric. Hell, even Ray Felix was a lot better than Eric. Sorry man, I just don't buy it. He may improve and that would be nice but for right now, he needs to shut up and learn the position. And that doesn't excuse Dirk by the way. I guess basketball has really changed more than I would like to admit. EDIT; let me add Mourning, Ewing, Mutumbo and Olajuwon.
