this is one collection I'm still looking for. A recent attempt at purchasing this box set fell through and all attempts at getting a used or new copy have failed.

This U.S online retailer has a copy. You may want to get it from them. I've been ordering literally every alternate week from these guys (bas***ds!!) for the past 5 months. Price has been upped a bit recently.

here are two other sources that ship internationally: trueblue and artistdirect. also, there are several amazon marketplace sellers that have new boxes or used copies of this set in "like new" condition. some of them advertise that they ship internationally, others might also be convinced to do so. here's the link: amazon marketplace. good luck.

Have been eyeing this one as well, and missed a cheap new copy in a store here...

I recommend going the Django's route. I got mine used from them a couple years ago, and the box was in perfect condition. The condition of Django's used CD's is far better than any other place I've purchased from.

You're going to have fun with this set.

I'm still waiting for a reply by an online retailer I tried last night, but I expect it to be the same as from the others: they all list it as available within 1 to 2 days and then let me know within a week that it's unavailable. Universal Germany, who seems to be shipping this one out to the retailers, has none left. So, I guess, for Germany that means nobody can get it anymore. BTW: I tried 6 Amazon marketplace dealers and all 6 had it listed as available right away ... and none had it.

On top of that, no used copies are available at the moment.

I'd prefer buying in Europe (I've simply had it with all this import, fees and waiting bullsh*t), so I might go the UK or France route ... have found at least one at a smaller second hand shop.

Need to dust this one down but it's a nice set. Sort of like a Verve Mosaic but in a 'sack cloth and ashes' type binding, if you know what I mean. I think I got my set from Zweitausendeins, when they were offering this one at very good price. Hugely swinging, enjoyable music in this box.

This really sucks! Has happened to me a couple of times - once they even charged my credit card right away, only to tell me two weeks later that they don't have it! There seem to be professional scammers on Amazon marketplace, who have everything that is rare, and once you order they don't have it...

I suppose Amazon doesn't care.
