Hoyt Clagwell Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 I voted a three-way tie Groucho-Harpo-Chico. No matter how talented they were seperately, they did their best work together as a team, playing off each other in various combinations. Zeppo was supposed to be the funniest one in real life. Quote
Brownian Motion Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 It's Harpo for me--the only clown that makes me laugh. Harpo kicking his feet in the lemonade. Harpo in the Punch & Judy show. Harpo stamping the custom inspector's head and then throwing his papers up in the air. Quote

ghost of miles Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 anyone have recordings of harpo's big band? Harpo led a big band? I've been looking for Chico's, which I could've sworn I saw on a Laserlight CD years ago--but I'd like to hear Harpo's as well. I played Don Byron's "Abie the Fishman" & yakked about the Marxes on-air today. Quote
