Somebody just listed a couple Gerald Wilson CD's for sale in another thread (look for undergroundagent's recent thread under "offering/looking-for"), and it occured to me that although I own the Gerald Wilson Mosaic, I don't think I've ever seen any of the original album covers (except "Portraits"), for any of the other dates from the GW Mosaic (his complete Pacific Jazz years).

Anybody have any to share?? Can we find images for all of them, and post them in this thread?? Thanks!!!! -- Rooster

And PS: Which of these (if any) have seen individual CD release??? Either in the U.S. or Japan (or perhaps Europe??).

Before today, the only one I knew of was "Portraits" (which I very briefly owned, before getting the Mosaic), but Allan has both "Portraits" and "Moment Of Truth" for sale as individual CD's.

Here's a not-so-good pic of "Moment of Truth". (I'll delete this post as soon as we find a better one.)

Here's a better one, but still not such a great image, quality-wise.

Not an album cover, but a very cool pic nonetheless...Gerald is on the right end...Photo is of Cecil Lee's orchestra, c. 1939, not long before Gerald left Detroit to join the Chic Carter Orchestra in Flint, and then on to the Lunceford band.

I had the honor of interviewing Gerald last weekend at the Ford Detroit International Jazz Festival. His memory is amazing.
