EthanThompson Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 A trivial question which I am not sure anyone will be able to answer - the RVG of Adam's Apple lists the date of the session that produced the title track as the 2nd of February, whereas jazzdisco.org lists the date as February 3rd. While I would tend to go with the date on the CD, I know there has been at least one other mistake on the RVGs. Does anybody know when the track Adam's Apple was recorded? Thanks Ethan Quote
Michael Fitzgerald Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 The first edition of Cuscuna/Ruppli gives February 3, 1966. So does the second edition. So does the Bruyninckx CD-ROM and the Lord CD-ROM. So does the 1987 CD issue. Now, *all* of these sources *have* been wrong at one time or another, but in those cases there isn't this kind of agreement. My vote says February 3, 1966. Mike Quote
JSngry Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 What time did the session begin? Quote
Shrdlu Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 And when did the sandwiches arrive? (See liner notes for "Bluesy Burrell".) Ethan, Blue Note makes lots of typos and other errors on their CD reissues. Quote
EthanThompson Posted September 4, 2004 Author Report Posted September 4, 2004 Thanks for the information guys - and yeah I realize it is not a very relevant question, but for obsessive compulsives such as myself these things provide peace of mind. Ethan Quote
