Rooster_Ties Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 (edited) Don't know anything about the seller, but it appears s/he listed a number of BN LP's, many (most?) with NY labels --- but they're under the catagory chain: "Home > All Categories > Collectibles > Advertising > Other Advertising" ...which means they aren't likely to get as many on them, so perhaps the bidding won't go up very high?? Who knows??? click here Or do a search on "Blue Note" in the main 'title' (never mind 'descriptions'), in the catagory "Collectibles". Edited September 1, 2004 by Rooster_Ties Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted September 1, 2004 Author Report Posted September 1, 2004 And actually, the same seller has a few other non-BN LP's listed in the same catagory... click here too or look at what the user "pop-a-licious" has for sale. -- Rooster Quote
sidewinder Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Nah, forget the NY USAs and go for the Leonard Nimoy reel-to-reel instead.. Quote
1ngram Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Is this the famous - and ultra rare - "Leonard Nimoy Sings Free Jazz Classics" and accompanies himself on spoons? One to die for! Quote
wolff Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 All those BN titles suck. Do not waste your time and money bidding on them. Quote
jazzhound Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 (edited) just grabbed the Shorter since no one else did the first time around. thanks for the tipoff! Edited September 15, 2004 by jazzhound Quote
kdd Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 jazzhound, tell me how Inventions and Dimensions turns out, I didn't want to get into a bidding war with you but if it turns out to be an original mono in great shape, I might kick myself a little Quote
jazzhound Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Inventions was nm New York with no ear. anyone else get theirs yet? If you want to trade make me an offer. Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted September 23, 2004 Author Report Posted September 23, 2004 (edited) So, jazzhound, what did you end of paying for it?? And, now that you've got it and can see exactly what it is, and grade it yourself --- how much of a bargain was it?? Just curious... EDIT: Same question to anybody else who scored anything from this seller, from these misfiled LP's. Edited September 23, 2004 by Rooster_Ties Quote
wolff Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 (edited) I just got the Ready For Freddie(NY USA) and it was as described, M-. Very, very nice LP for $20. I also took a flyer on the Mode For Joe(NY USA mono) for $10.50, but he forgot to mail it, so I'll have to wait. Almost forgot, thanks for posting link!! Edited September 23, 2004 by wolff Quote
