Anyone heard the japanese import Beatles cds?

Wondering if they sound a lot better than the US versions?

The Beatles - Toshiba TOCP-51119~20 (the "White Double Album")

These CDs are reissues of the original U.K. albums.

I really like the sound on the Revolver cd. That's the only one I have of this series.

Aren't the dates you mention actually refer to the span of the release, like it's only available for 2 years...? That's how I've always interpreted those dates. I usually see them always span 2 years, on most Japanese releases/reissues.

One of my Japanese sources told me that they really are two release dates; you only see them on reissued Japanese discs. As far as I know these Beatles CDs are still available; I got them from Amazon Japan only a few months ago.
