Free For All Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I remember watching R&B when I was young. Much of the humor was lost on me at that age, but I remember liking the music. The opening theme, the closing theme and the "Fractured Fairy Tales" theme were all very hip to my young ears. Who did the music for R&B? BTW, FWIW, the first eight bars of the opening theme makes a great rhythm changes head. Try it sometime (just blow over the bridge). Quote
Big Wheel Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 Would that be the first or second theme song here? http://www.melaman2.com/cartoons/singles/bullwinkle.html Quote
Free For All Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 (edited) Would that be the first or second theme song here? http://www.melaman2.com/cartoons/singles/bullwinkle.html The first one. I always think of the other one as the closing theme. Wow, it was cool to hear the "long" version! Thanks for the link BW! I haven't heard that for a long time, and I stand corrected- I forgot there was already an actual melody on the bridge, and it's even a typical rhythm changes bridge! So it's a complete tune as is! There's a lot you could do with that as an arrangement.................hmmmm..................... Edited August 29, 2004 by Free For All Quote
Jazzmoose Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 And it's about time, too! I finished this first season box ages ago! I love this stuff; takes me back in time to those endless Mooseberry Pie parties and keggers at Wassamatta U. Sigh... Quote

Shrdlu Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 This is good news. We have a fuzzy videotape of some episodes, taken from a marathon that Channel 9 in L.A. ran in 1992. My son sat there nearly all day taping, and stopping for the zillions of commercials. A clean DVD of all this would be welcome. Quote

Jazzmoose Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Sore spot: I still don't have it yet. We only got five friggin' copies in at work, and those were three days late. I had no idea it was only five, or I would have jumped faster. Have to pick it up elsewhere... Quote
