brownie Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 (edited) This was on the Prez Box (22LPs) published in Italy and reissued in Japan on CDs by SoundHills, also on a number of other issues. Personnel is: Idrees Suleiman, tp on Indiana), Sinclair Raney, p, Gene Ramey, b Willie Jones, dr. The same group performed (the sides were on the Prez Box too issues) on December 15 from the Cafe Bohemia. Also on December 29 but these items remain unissued. Edited July 29, 2004 by brownie Quote

Got that one recently, I think it was from CDConnection. Should be around... Here it is! (althouth you might want to get it at a cheaper prize...) To make it short, I checked not with the disc, but with my Lester data stuff, and it seems there's no additional material on the Storyville disc, nothing that's not part of that Japanese set. (I think I mixed it up with an -unrelated- Jass disc, "Prez Conferences", which seems to include some items not on the Japanese set, but don't nail me on that now, please!) ubu Quote

That Jass CD indeed had a couple of items which were not in the Prez Box. No need for you to come here on your knees. There must be better ways to travel to the City of Light! And when you come, a glass of Cognac - one of Prez's prefered drinks - will be shared between the two of us to honor our beloved President! The only President worthy of our unanimous votes.
