Peter Johnson Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Took me a minute to figure out where this was taken from. Around 28th Street facing East? You can almost see the building that I work in... Yes, Alan, I took it from the recently constructed trail that starts at Locust and the Schuykill (just north of Schuykill River Park) and runs along the river up toward the art museum, then underneath the West River Drive bridge to connect to the Waterworks and Boathouse Row. It's a neat trail, and is going a long way towards overcoming the, uhm, "reputation" that area had for some time, as I understand it! The picture was taken at 28th & Race, looking east. Quote

The white smoke is only a sign that another BFT has been completed, copies have been burned and are ready to ship around the world. I see that smoke coming out of Kinko's all the time. Quote

Christiern Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 (edited) This is yet another photo of the historic building that graces my street and lies one block north of me. This is a shot I took 2 weeks ago on Duke Ellington Boulevard. I like the dramatic effect generated by the 1884 structure against a threatening sky and a darkened Central Park.
