I don't know Berigan, I can only speak for myself, but Paul has always made me quasinauseous. Never liked his singing, never liked his looks or mannerism. One of my friends calls him "the ultimate momma's boy"---not sure why, he doesn't articulate why to me, but that seems to fit somehow. Anyway, he's a major reason I just have heard way too much of the beatles (I mean I'm of the age that would have had their fill of Beatles over the airwaves and at parties etc.) and don't want to hear them any longer. I like John and Ringo and George okay but Paul. . . yech.

You're right, Dave. White was in the Plastic Ono Band for a while. He played on the Live Peace in Toronto album, Imagine, and also on Harrison's All Things Must Pass.

It's funny though. White has been Yes' drummer since 1972, for 32 years, and yet he still gets negatively compared to Bruford, who was their drummer for a total of 4 years. I understand the difference in their styles (at the core "jazzy" vs. power), and probably prefer Bruford's style myself, but White has been a solid rock in the ever changing Yes lineup ever since he joined.
