street singer Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 The Miles Davis Prestige box is available here if anyone is interested. You just had to go and point this out, didn't you? Now I'm $150 poorer than I was 5 minutes ago... But oh, so very happy! Quote

wolff Posted September 17, 2004 Author Report Posted September 17, 2004 A couple Fantasy OJC's that should be in every collection and I'd imagine most of you already have them.. Still in print. $9.98 from Fantasy. SONNY ROLLINS QUINTET Rollins Plays for Bird Way Out West I love the sound on this one. Quite stunning at times. Quote
ajf67 Posted September 17, 2004 Report Posted September 17, 2004 Way Out West is really good. I have a re-issue that is probably from the 70s I'd guess. Sounds good to me, although I've never heard an earlier LP so I can't compare. I've never felt any need to replace it. The dead wax has LKS33 D7 in handwriting on side one and LKS34 D4 in type on side two. Don't know what either signifies in terms of pressing, etc. Quote
