rockefeller center Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 (edited) Do you, by your own estimation, lead a double life? Details appreciated. Edited July 17, 2004 by rockefeller center Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 (edited) Not an easy question to answer since you didn't list the rules. Some (many) on this board may whack off and never tell their wife/husband. That probably counts unless you set some parameters. I live in a small "tourist/manufacturing" town and the locals don't have a clue about my job, interests, etc. Edited July 17, 2004 by Chuck Nessa Quote
rockefeller center Posted July 17, 2004 Author Report Posted July 17, 2004 Cheating on your wife/husband counts. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 Cheating on your wife/husband counts. Does a napkin full count, or do you need another participant? Lot'sa potential rules in the 21st Century. YOU need to define "cheating" since you brought it up. Quote
chris olivarez Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 No. As I said I live in a small town which makes that kind of behavior difficult. At any rate it's not my way. You do need to refine the rules of this thread. Quote

chris olivarez Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 For example-if you're cheating on your wife it doesn't take long for the word to get out in Pagosa Springs. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 I do not live a double life, nor do I aspire to do so. I go through enough stress just being "me" throughout the day. I can't take the complications inherent with duplicity and prevarication. I'm a simple guy... I do not cheat on my wife either. Had enough fun when I was young and single... Quote
Jazzmoose Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Yeah, need more details from the rules committee before answering this one...I mean, in some sense, doesn't everyone lead (at the least) a double life? I mean here at the Organissimo bulletin board, I'm a complete smart ass, while in real life...okay, that's not a good example, but you know what I mean... Quote

marcoliv Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 to handle one woman is sooo hard, more than one is craziness Marcus Quote
brownie Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 I have barely time to lead a single life! Don't mention a double one Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 I think doublem should answer this question. Quote
wesbed Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 I only wish my life was exciting enough to elicit a double. Wait. There's the normal, mild-mannered version of myself. -_- Then, there's the 'get out of my goddamned way and let me place my next order on the Mosaic website' version of myself. Quote

paul secor Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 I guess that I do lead a double life. Now and again, my wife will say, "What Is this record world that you're always in?" B) Quote

Peter Johnson Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Of sorts. My "career me," while obviously informed by my personality and life in general, stays at the office when the "real me" leaves. The "real me" is not nearly as informed by my "career me." But no, I'm not an agency asset in Afghanistan at weekends, or anything! Quote

Dr Jekyll Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Well I don't think that I lead a double life. But would I necessarily know? Quote
