Bol Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I've been looking for this one ever since I began to listen to McLean -- about 4 years ago. Unlike other TOCJs, I've never seen it anywhere -- not even on eBay. Does it exist? I was hoping that the recent RVG release would have made this one more common. But no such luck. Would appreciate any leads. Quote
apaman Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 grab it here http://www.musicselection.com/msci/search?...chText=C1323154 got alot of hard to get items from them Quote
JohnJ Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Bol, it certainly exists. You will be happy to know that I picked up a used a copy last year for a little over $5 at Disc Union here in Tokyo. Quote
couw Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 note that it was released in 1994, so it's not 20bit remastered. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 note that it was released in 1994, so it's not 20bit remastered. Not that the bits have anything to do with it, but weren't all of the first TOCJ 84XXX CDs remastered using 20 bit technology? I thought they moved to 24 bit right in the middle of this series. Maybe around 1995? And I mean it about the bits... some of the best-sounding CDs I own are 16 bit remasters. Bits has nothing to do with a good remastering job. Later, Kevin Quote

AmirBagachelles Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 This McLean TOCJ was posted for sale in this thread recently, and it went unsold. Look for it. Quote

AmirBagachelles Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I'm not pulling your leg, it really was posted here in the past three months. I noticed it because about two yrs ago I bought TOCJs of all of the great McLean and Joe Hendersons from Early Records. You might want to try them. Quote
J.A.W. Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I couldn't find it in this forum either. However, there were a few posters who were (are?) looking for a CD version of this album. Quote
grey Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I posted and sold a copy (TOCJ 4106) for $15 last January on this Org Board forum. The thread would have been deleted within 1 day after the sale. Quote
