can someone confirm that the track timings of the ESP cd

Marzette Watts And Company esp 1044

are: 18m, 6m, and 13m, not 18, 8, 7 as listed on the esp site, and allmusic.

I have the LP, so I can only venture a guess here. On side b, the first track takes up considerably less wax than the second, leading me to believe that your six/thirteen guess is probably correct.

Correct CD timings are in the Henry Grimes discography on my website.

this is peculiar, because the day before my posting about this, the timings on your Henry Grimes discography for this session were as wrong as the timings on allmusic.

The plates were switched on the second pressing of the LP, so that track one (A) is on side B and vice versa (i.e., deadwax lists ESPS-1044-B for the side-long A side piece). I believe that they took the CD from a second pressing of the LP and mis-tracked it accordingly. The Get Back LP reish also follows suit in this error.
