Agustin, you'd better get a more recent map of the Paris subways.

The map you posted is half a century old :D

I like the vintage look of it.

DonĀ“t worry, I have a more recent map (only 40 years old). Has Paris changed since then? :P

[Has Paris changed since then? :P

The old buildings have lost their greydirt patina, some neighborhoods have changed, only a few for the better.

But it's still one of the most beautiful city around!

And after a couple of glasses of wine, it feels like THE best :P

Sorry, I completely forgot about this thread after my vacation in Bulgaria last year - Damstadt has some to offer besides the jazz institute, even some jazz concerts or club gigs!

Met King ubu in Zurich as announced - met brownie in Paris in August.

This year I cannot make it to Paris or Stralsund, as much as i'd like to - only vacation will be in Bulgaria last week of July, first week of August, with a visit to the Varna Jazz Festival in the middle. Anybody else go there? Life is cheap in Bulgaria!

Speaking of meeting up, maybe we could plan going to a festival (e.g. North Sea Jazz)?

I'm in for North Sea. :tup

Wasn't the plan also to drop by Darmstadt and check out the vinyl and videos in the Institut?

On our way to Darmstadt, three Organissimo Forum members got together near Zurich on the occasion of a gig of the Mikail Aslan Ensemble:

And here's how cool our bandleader found the meeting:

I hear ubu is on a diet...

Yes! Beer for breakfast, lunch and dinner...

As far as waists are concerned, I already lost 3 more kg since that Sunday, just in case... no beer and in fact no alcohol for two weeks now! I'm quite astonished myself that it works so easily!

Carbohydrates and fat (olive oil is fine - no problem for us, as we usually cook with olive oil anyway... but no butter and no bread, except "vollkorn", no pasta, no rice... pretty tough! No pataters, but that I have no problem with, either... and after a few months all of that is allowed again occasionally.

The no pasta thing has always been tough for me, but I can do without taters.

Quite the same here... but it seems you occasionally are allowed to eat pasta but only al dente (of course!), and not with meat, just with tomatos or whatever vegetable(s) you want...

Gee guys, will you be exchanging recipees at this Europeen Board Members Meeting?

Ubu left out the no meat part earlier and I've already decided to toss in a little salsiccia with my risotto tonight. :w
