BruceH Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 I'm still waiting for them to release the old Fantastic Voyage cartoon series on DVD. Quote
Tjazz Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 I've been hanging on to my laserdisc player for the day when I can transfer my Tex Avery box set to DVD. ← I can transfer you laserdiscs to DVD. Let me know if you're interested. Quote
ejp626 Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 Tex Avery fans can go to Tex Avery Tribute Site Click the email link and ask him and he'll tell you how to get the 'toons on dvd. They are uncensored and complete. They are not legit. So far as I know, no legit dvds are available stateside. ← It took me three trips to France to get the Tex Avery set (4 DVDs of cartoons but not the bonus disc), but I have them home now. There are two cartoons missing from the complete set, and they apparently have done a bit of editing (mostly of racial stereotypes) from another 3 or 4. So less than ideal, but more than adequate for me. They should be available through Amazon.fr. They are region 2 discs. The important thing is that they have the original English soundtrack, as well as a French dub soundtrack. It is a little surprising that they have not announced a US release, since there is clearly a market for them. Quote
rostasi Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 Great to see Fractured Flickers out on DVD! Great childhood memories of this Jay Ward/Bill Scott series. Complete on three DVDs: Fractured Flickers Quote
