JSngry Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Bought this last weekend, and, yeah, very good stuff. Quote
WD45 Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 tony scott ain't fakin' it, which is great, but... i sorta don't give a crap about his yoga mat either... i'd rather listen to Robbie Basho. Salangadou... Quote
WD45 Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 I, too, am troubled at the lack of readily available Tony Scott "jazz" sides. The RCA LPs go for quite a bit. I was able to find a copy of "Both Sides" for five quid in Edinburgh, tho. I should think that the rats at Lonehill/Definitive would be putting the RCA & Decca stuff out. They put out some, but I want more! Again, like the Tal Farlow set they put out, I would be willing to cross the line and buy grey market. Only if it is unavailable elsewhere, however. Quote
.:.impossible Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 I came across this thread thinking Elvin was on drums for the recording I mentioned early on! Again! I have been thinking about Tony Scott a lot lately. I guess its time I hunt down some of these recordings. Robbie Basho in a Tony Scott thread? Only the elder district of columbia... by now he's listening to Bhattacharya with Titiana on her yoga mat. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 For a week I lived with Basho in the next room. I could use that experience in a curse. Quote
