J.A.W. Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 (edited) Best place to buy the Japanese "Blue Note Works" TOCJs, the Japanese Rudy Van Gelder TOCJs and the new Japanese 24-bit remastered TOCJs: hiroshi@earlyrecords.com. Edited June 18, 2004 by J.A.W. Quote
sidmmm Posted June 18, 2004 Author Report Posted June 18, 2004 How does one pay for these orders? (I'm assuming this is a web-based seller of some sort?). WHere will they be shipping from? Thanks for the info. Cheers, Sid Quote
J.A.W. Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 Hiroshi Tanno takes PayPal, International Money Order and cash payments; no credit cards, though. He's in Fukuoka City, Japan. Hiroshi can supply all currently available Japanese jazz CDs and LPs, whether they're listed on his website or not. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 As discussed previously, Hiroshi Tanno's service is top-notch. Everyone on the board who has dealt with him would recommend him highly. Quote
Peter Johnson Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Turnaround is unbelievable. Great service! Quote
jlhoots Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 I don't like PayPal. Sorry. I'm not sending cash to Japan. Please define an International Money Order. Quote
J.A.W. Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Please define an International Money Order. Why don't you do a search? I found this on the USPS website. Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 What is the beef w/ paypal? Tremendous convenience, it works to buyers' advantage. The 4% is even worthwhile in certain dire instances. Quote
Brad Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 Does Hiroshi still take international money orders. I thought he was just taking paypal. Anyway, go to a post office and tell them you need an international money order and where it has to go and that's it. Not every post office does but many do. However, paypal is much easier and less time consuming. Quote
