brownie
Thierry Henry scored twice in the second half for a 3-1 victory that qualifies France into the quarterfinals. They will oppose Greece next. The French team has progress to make. Hope they will not be too tired for the next match(es)...

J.A.W.
Can't play any music at the moment (my speakers have the flu), so I'm spending way too much time at my PC and watching all those games...
sidewinder
That was a great performance by Wayne Rooney tonight. That young guy is a major star in the making, absolutely lethal in combination with Gerrard. Beckham very subdued tonight - it really hasn't been his tournament so far. Maybe the Mrs is still giving him gip.. Still not convinced though that England have their act together in defence. They looked a bit vulnerable at times. Nevertheless - 4:2 is a good result. Swinging Swede
What dialect does Wayne Rooney speak? I've heard him speak twice now and both times his speech was incomprehensible to me. It struck me as very odd-sounding. He certainly has been impressive in this tournament. And he's only 18! It can not be easy to be Michael Owen and be so completely overshadowed. We dont look good enough to be champions but never the less we keep scoring so I'm happy.

couw
nah, just the facts that he started the tournament with a stretched leg attack on the keeper put me off quite a bit, thassall I guess.

Granted he does have a disciplinary problem but he is a quality player. So do you think your boys will join us in the quarter finals?
