Son-of-a-Weizen
More goodies from the cigar box. I remember it being a great show --- just can't remember who I went with......or how I got there....or got home?
Son-of-a-Weizen
Not as animated as the Rush show....but still enjoyable. One should never miss an opportunity to help out the Khusrau Society.
Son-of-a-Weizen
Better than the Rush show? Hhhm...probably........nice acoustics.
7/4
Due out June 29th, a Rush covers album: Tracks: 1. Summertime Blues 2. Heart Full Of Soul 3. The Seeker 4. For What It’s Worth 5. Shapes Of Things 6. Mr. Soul 7. Crossroads 8. Seven And Seven Is And it's not too bad. I picked it up this morning at BestBuy for $7.99. Couldn't resist it at that price. The ONLY Rush cd I own. Rock on Garth.
7/4
I think I like them MUCH better as a cover band.

GregK
Cool to see them doing a fellow Canadian's song too. I much prefer Rush doing their own, more complex songs, as they just don't sound right doing blues, but I like this CD. Joe G
They bartender at the club we played at last night was playing this before we started. Straightahead rock. Had good energy. Couldn't hear the details beyond that in that setting (lousy acoustics in that room).
Guy Berger
There's a new Rush album, Snakes and Arrows, coming out in May. I haven't heard any of their albums since Different Stages and don't expect that to change... Guy
ghost of miles
Just read this whole thread for the first time--never realized Aric's "Rush is the poor man's Yes" remark had provoked so many hilarious posts!
