Have not listened to a Mosaic in months. I like Mosaic a bunch but have shitloads of other stuff. :cool:

FWIW, last I listened to was the Hill Select. Wonderful package.

I know that Bobby Jaspar is getting a lot of love for his playing on this set, but for me, Tommy Flannagan is wonderfull, and is working his way into my heart. What a touch! :wub:

Oh yeah! Bags' Groove is so cool -- especially dig Nat Adderley's solo with Tootie Heath doing those rim-shots underneath. Oh HECK YEAH!

There is really great music on this disk. Both versions of "Star Dust," "Bags' Goove," "God Bless the Child," "Speak Low," "Pennies From Heaven," etc. -- great music. :tup

Finally got past the wonderfull disk 5, and now I'm on disk 6, which turns out to be just like the NBA -- fantastic! This JJ box is something special. :wub:

tolliver Disc 3....

Now onto Columbia Swing Sessions Disc V.... Liking it more than the first spin or two.... Love this Buddy Tate guy!!! :) Who da heck is he? (Although the sound of this session seems funky...)

Now... Johnny Smith Disc 3..... I do like this set... ! :)
