GA Russell Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Chet Baker PJ Studio, disc 1. I haven't listened to this one in almost a year. Baker is great, but I've never been that big a fan of Russ Freeman. Quote
Guest Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Sonny Stitt Disc 2.... You may just push me into ordering this Bad Boy when it goes into "running low" status. He already pushed me into ordering it, and I don't even know him. But reading through this thread I thought, "Damn, if somebody likes something this much, it has to have something good in it." Then I listened to some sound clips, and BAM!, next thing you know I'm out $150. Tranemonk, Mosaic should have you on their payroll. Quote

Shawn Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 My recently purchased Horace Parlan Mosaic (just arrived today). It never ceases to amaze me how good that Turrentine/Turrentine/Parlan/Tucker/Harewood lineup was. All of the sessions they did together are wonderful. Now...if Blue Note would PLEASE do an RVG of Look Out!!!! Sheesh!!!! Quote
