A Mosaic I keep returning to often. Pass is equally capable here on nylon or steel strings. And that's a sign of a very good guitarist. He's paired here manily with Claire Fisher or Les McCann. I prefer the former one. Although McCann is also good in a more souljazzy bag.

It’s an under appreciated Mosaic.

The music is great although the sound quality is all over the place, which is understandable.

Worked through all the discs and am now on the final Basie session.

The two Basie discs rock relentlessly, it must have been an adrenaline rush to hear them live.

I can't believe this is  still available. The two Basie discs are must-haves.

Fresh from the oven. I got it today from a fellow board member.

The previously unreleased quartet session with Cecil Payne, Ron Carter and Roy Haynes is face-melting.

Now playing:

Disc 2.  I hadn't heard a ton of Berry before buying this, but so far, so good.
